Becoming a Journeys Member Before joining, prospective members must attend an open house. The open houses are a way to meet members, learn more about the group, and get answers to questions you might have about Journeys. At the open house, add your contact information to the sign-in sheet so that all of the group’s membership materials can be emailed to you. Remember, a regularly-used email account is essential for Journeys membership--all contact is electronic, and all information is provided electronically, from membership materials to the group calendar with specific details about each group event or activity. | | Steps for joining Journeys | | 1 | Attend a monthly open house and provide your email contact information on the sign-in sheet. | | 2 | Read and review the emailed membership materials that you received after attending the open house. | | 3 | Complete the materials and mail them to Journeys at the listed address. | 4 | Receive either an email invitation to join the Journeys’ Yahoo! group, or an email requesting more information before your membership can be completed. | | 5 | Read through the several messages from the Journeys Yahoo Group explaining how to use the group's web services, along with details about how to organize Journeys' activities. |
